Our meeting on Monday night was the third since we began gathering monthly. Not only are we sharing ideas and information with everyone, we are strategizing further community involvement – making sure we get all the great info we’ve found out to other concerned citizens. We are hoping to grow by leaps and bounds between now and the next municipal election, especially with the November elections coming up.

Here are the highlights of our discussions:

• To learn more about the alcohol waiver issue, we attended the P&Z meeting held on Tuesday. The commission was hearing about the site plans for the RaceTrac at Eldorado and Teel. We’ll update the site again with info when we get it compiled.
• While we are looking for other areas to get involved in, all participants agreed that we should stick to family-based and moral issues. While there are many agendas facing the city of Frisco, we want to be sure we remain relevant and focused.
• The website will begin to have more information about issues affecting Frisco. We want to make sure voting records, campaign promises, quotes and the facts behind many hotly debated topics are available for anyone interested in learning more and getting involved.
• We also decided to complete several marketing pieces, such as banners, postcards, a voters guide and stickers.

So in short, look for the website and some printed materials very soon. We still stand behind our initial goals – inform, educate, be involved and hold accountable. We hope to do so and be able to keep Frisco safe for future generations!

Hi everyone. Sorry for the delay in updates! It’s been a busy summer for Frisco and our families.

We wanted to let you know that our monthly meeting for July is moved to the 12th because of the holiday. We will be meeting at 7pm at the same house we met in last month. The address is:

We plan to further discuss our alcohol waiver petition, new opportunities with a new council member and our involvement in a few other community events. We’d love to see everyone there. Mark your calendars now and please RSVP if possible.
